1. Is the Eternal Ice Bath difficult to install?

No. It comes ready to use. You place it where you want, connect your chiller (in winter, the De-Icer takes over), fill it up, and you’re ready to dive in.

2. What is the minimum attainable temperature?

As low as 2 °C with the Eternal Ice Power Chiller. And above all: it remains stable, session after session.

3. Can I use it all year round?

Yes, twelve months a year. In summer — even in July — the chiller keeps the water ice-cold through the heat; in winter, the ambient cold does the cooling for free and the De-Icer keeps the water from freezing. Thanks to the 45 mm insulation, the temperature stays stable in every season.

4. What is the difference between the HD Pro and the HD Ultimate model?

The HD Pro is more spacious, round in shape, designed for long and deep immersions (fits two, if you’re both average-size). The HD Ultimate model is more compact, vertical, with an integrated seat, ideal for individual use and small spaces.

5. Does the tub come with the Eternal Ice Power Chiller?

The tub and chiller are sold separately. However, we offer value bundles that include both — like this one.

6. What maintenance is required?

Very little. Ozone sanitation naturally disinfects the water, while the 50-micron coarse paper filter removes physical particles. The filter should be replaced every few weeks, depending on usage. The lid helps reduces debris buildup.

7. Does the cold bath consume a lot of electricity?

No. The Eternal Ice Power Chiller is designed to be energy-efficient. It cools quickly and maintains the temperature with optimized consumption, even during heat waves.

8. How often should I take cold baths to see results?

2–4 sessions of 2–5 minutes a week — about ten minutes of total cold is enough. Mood and energy: measurable from the very first session. Recovery: less muscle soreness within 24–96 h of training. Start short — even 30–90 seconds works — and build at your own pace.

9. Is it safe for all levels?

Yes, provided you respect your level of tolerance. Start with shorter immersions (30 to 90 seconds) and consult a healthcare professional if you have a particular condition.

10. Do I need to be an athlete to use a cold bath?

No, cold exposure is beneficial even if you’re not an athlete. Whether it’s to recover after training, improve your mood or reduce stress, cold baths can fit into any routine, as long as you start gradually and respect your tolerance. It’s a tool for overall regulation, not just physical performance.

11. Does it really work in a Canadian winter?

Yes. Eternal Ice is based in Lévis, Québec, and every model goes through real winters here. In winter the chiller stores indoors — the ambient cold does the cooling for free — and the De-Icer (your Winter Kit — free with your bundle, unlock it above) keeps the water from freezing solid. Our customers plunge at −25 °C.

12. Does the chiller need to run in winter?

Technically it can — but we strongly advise against it: if the power goes out in deep cold, the water inside the chiller and hoses freezes and can damage it — and that damage isn’t covered by the warranty (it counts as misuse). Store it for the season: the ambient cold does the cooling for free, and keeping the water from freezing solid is exactly the De-Icer’s job. (It’s free with your bundle — unlock it above.)

13. I’m tall or built big — will I be comfortable?

The HD Ultimate (530 L) fits users up to 6′7″ seated, thanks to its molded seat 12″ (30 cm) off the floor. The taller you are, the more you tuck your legs to go under — the format is vertical and compact. Want more shoulder room — or to get in with a partner (average-size)? Take a look at the HD Pro: 630 L, round format.

14. Can I install it on a balcony?

Filled, the HD Ultimate weighs about 570 kg (1,250 lb). Most residential balconies aren’t built for that — have the load capacity checked before any elevated installation. (We’d rather tell you now.)

15. How much is shipping?
