Supported installations
Our warranty and technical support cover installations that use Eternal Ice components, hoses, and fittings as supplied and described in this guide. Custom or modified setups — homemade hoses, non-Eternal Ice fittings, custom plumbing, or altered configurations — can introduce air intake, leaks, poor water circulation, reduced efficiency, or premature wear, and our technical team may not be able to fully diagnose or support them. If you're planning a custom setup, reach out before you build it and we'll help you do it safely. Outdoor outlets must be installed with the chiller's plug oriented so the cord exits the bottom and forms a drip loop below the outlet; damage caused by water entering an outlet because the plug was installed cord-up, or by forcing the plug or cord, is considered misuse and is not covered by warranty.

Plug orientation: drip loop
Plug the chiller into an outdoor outlet so the cord exits the bottom and hangs in a loop below the outlet. Rainwater follows the cord by gravity: a drip loop lets it fall off before the outlet instead of running inside, which prevents short circuits. Never force the plug or cord.
