We didn't start Eternal Ice to sell cold plunge tubs. We started it to change lives — starting with our own.
When we discovered the power of cold exposure, it wasn't a trend. It was a revelation. A raw and profound tool to regain clarity, calm, and mental strength.
But the gear on the market didn't live up to the experience: inflatable gadgets, soulless imported products — nothing that embodied the harshness of our winters or the discipline this practice demands.
So we decided to create the cold plunge we always dreamed of: strong, beautiful, built to last, designed right here in Quebec by passionate people who plunge every day, winter or summer.
Today, we want to build more than a product. We want to build a community of people who, like us, want to become better — one plunge at a time.
The Origins of Eternal Ice Bath
Eternal Ice Bath was born out of a real need — something felt in everyday life, not in a boardroom.
Between intense training and the mental load of entrepreneurship, Pierre-Luc was looking for a simple way to recover faster, regain mental clarity, and build resilience. By experimenting with cold exposure in his backyard, he discovered a raw, powerful tool that truly worked.
But the equipment available on the market fell short: temporary fixes, flimsy materials, and products made abroad that weren't suited to our climate.
He brought the idea to Guillaume, a longtime friend with whom he also shares a love for ball hockey and a passion for well-thought-out projects. Quickly, the combination of their strengths gave rise to a shared vision: to create a cold tub that's durable, functional, and beautiful — designed here, for our reality.
That's how the first Eternal Ice tub was born — imagined, tested, and built in Québec by two believers in the power of cold.
